Dutch Oven Pinto Nachos

We love eating our Dutch Oven Pinto Nachos for lunch or dinner but they also serve as tasty snack when outdoors. Loaded with spices and flavours reminiscent of Mexico. A sure way to put a smile on your face.

Ingredients

1 Bag of Salted Nacho Chips

2.5 tbsp Vegetable Oil (we use rapeseed)

1 can (300g) Pinto Beans

1 Jar of Salsa

1 Pod of Smoked Paprika

Cheddar

2tbsp ofJalapeño 

2 Spring Green Onions, roughly chopped

Method

Step 1- Heat 1 tsp of veggie oil in a cast iron dutch oven or skillet over your flame.

Step 2- When hot add some of the nachos, paprika, salsa, spring onions and some of the pinto beans followed by a good distribution of cheddar. Do this in layers repeating until you have used all the ingredients aim for 3-4 layers.

Add extra cheese and call everyone to start sharing!!
